7 FACTORS OF UNITY DISUNITY POSTED ON IGALA UNITY WHATSAPP GROUP

I'm joining because unity is a factor we can't do without. I'm joining because unity is world evangelism.
John 17:21, 23 (KJV)  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Yet there are 7 wrong ways to unite as Christians:
1 Cor. 1:11-12
1. I belong to Paul. Paul was their Pastor in Corinth
2. I belong to Peter. Peter was like a General Overseer to them then.
3. I belong to Apollos. Apollos was a powerful speaker/man of God then.
4. I belong to Christ can be a problem if used to divide the body.
Galatians 3:28 (KJV)  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
5. Division along tribal line is not of God.
6. Division along social lines (slave, free, rich, poor, etc) is not Christ's unity.
7. Neither is division along gender line correct.
CORRECT SPIRITUAL UNITY ARE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING 7 FACTORS:

Ephesians 4:4-6 (KJV)  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1. One body, the body of Christ
2. One Spirit, that of Christ.
3. One hope - that Christ is coming back for us.
4. One Lord. As many as see Christ as the only true leader and can only follow leaders that follow Him, fall into this group.
5.  One faith - not for blessings of God only - but that faith that makes salvation possible through Christ.

6.  One BAPTISM. This is not just about sprinkling or immersion. It's whether you are immersed/dead in Christ or not.
7. One Father. Only those who see Jehovah as the true source of all things belong here. They call no one Father in any true sense of that word.
Matthew 23:8-11 (KJV)  But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

May God bless you all.
