CHRISTMAS REMINDS US OF HOW TO INTERPRET THE BIBLE
Christmas reminds us of the mysterious and powerful ways the Bible works. The Bible speaks once, but we hear it again and again. As the Scripture says:
“Once have I spoken; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.”
— Psalm 62:11
History moves like a wheel—turning, revolving, and returning. What God did before, He does again. Christmas is one of those events that keeps repeating itself prophetically. See:
Luke 2:1-3 AMP
[1] Now in those days a decree went out from [the emperor] Caesar Augustus, that all the inhabited world (the Roman Empire) should be registered [in a census]. [2] This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. [3] And everyone went to register for the census, each to his own city.
1. A DECREE THAT YOU SHOULD BE REGISTERED
At the first Christmas, there was an announcement—
A decree went out that everyone should go back to their roots.
Today, the announcement still goes out, not from Caesar, but from a greater King and not by force, but by divine prompting.
Every year at this season: People are going home, roads are busy and families are moving. Hearts are being stirred. Some are going to their physical homes. Others are going to their spiritual homes — to retreats, crusades, prayer grounds and places of encounter.
Just as Joseph took Mary—even though she was heavily pregnant—people are still moving, compelled by something greater than comfort.
2. every one into his own city.
People are again going back to their own roots.
Villages are becoming alive. This happens every year at Christmas. It is happening again this year, 2025. It will happen every December 25th till the end of time.
3. to be registered
Here is another thing people do every Christmas. They go to register their presence in the family, in the Village or Town Association, etc. We mimic the events of the first Christmas whether we like it or not. We fulfill prophecies every time whether we like it or not. It was like what made the Jews kill Jesus without knowing they were fulfilling prophecies they they read about daily then.
This principle applies all through the Bible. You can fit into any prophecy just like Jesus did by getting a donkey to enter Jerusalem with. Any of us can fulfill prophecy. Only let the Spirit of God stir you. Sometimes we don't know the timing for fulfilment of prophecies. Whatever God said to a righteous person in the bible can become yours, if the Spirit urges you to claim it. Likewise, all the dooms of the wicked are deposits waiting to fall on the wicked.
Some religions have to announce the date of birth of their prophet. We don't. The Spirit of God stirs up the hearts of the whole world at this time. There is a DECREE saying, go and celebrate Christmas. It's His birthday. Celebrate it. Even His enemies squander their monies to.mark this day.
I'm so favoured that mine is more than a day of celebration. Jesus was born into the world over 2000 years ago. He entered my life about 35 years.
How does He enter someone's life? By the person's permission. We, His Angels, like the first angels (angel means messenger) are always out, crying like those angels.
Luke 2:9-12, 14 AMP
[9] And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone around them, and they were terribly frightened. [10] But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people. [11] For this day in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (the Messiah). [Mic 5:2] [12] And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]: you will find a Baby wrapped in [swaddling] cloths and lying in a manger.” [1 Sam 2:34; 2 Kin 19:29; Is 7:14]
[14] “Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.”

LORD JESUS, I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU TASTED DEATH FOR MY SINS, THAT YOU WERE BURIED, THAT YOU ROSE FROM THE DEAD THE THIRD DAY AND PEOPLE SAW YOU. PLEASE FORGIVE ME MY SINS, ACCEPT ME INTO YOUR KINGDOM.
