FIRST IMPRESSIONS 22.5.25 - A LIFE JOURNAL BY ALEX OGUH The Beginning of My Hearing God by Alex Oguh

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 22.5.25 - A LIFE JOURNAL BY ALEX OGUH  The Beginning of My Hearing God Alex Oguh I was perplexed; the majorities are not hearing their Father? Then the Lord gave an illustration in my mind. The illustration was about a shepherd and his flock of sheep. Not all the sheep hear the shepherd. Not all the sheep see him but all the sheep can follow the shepherd if each sheep closely follows the one before it as that one follows the one ahead of it. Thus the whole flock can follow the shepherd. The shepherd only has to direct by voice or by cane the sheep nearest to him. God’s people are like sheep. As I began to understand the will of God more and more, I saw that His flock can all be led if they embrace discipleship. It is wonderful recalling this experience now, I feel bad that I did not know from then that discipleship is the correct way for every Christian. It took me very many years before I heard of Bro. Gbile Akanni who opened my eyes to the concepts of disciplesh...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 21.5.25 A LIFE JOURNAL BY ALEX OGUH

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 21.5.25 A LIFE JOURNAL BY ALEX OGUH  The Beginning of My Hearing God Alex Oguh I was saved at an accident scene on December 30th 1991. The first Christian book I read after my conversion was written by a Pastor who was disciplined by his Church because the Senior Pastor told a lie about him. The man suffered rejection for a time. Everyone looked at him as a sinner, when in reality, he did not sin. It was jealousy at work. After a time, the rejected pastor was restored and he was posted out to a new station. God helped him in the new place and led him to a higher dimension of ministry. The author kept quoting Rom 8:28 I saw that all things work together for good to them who love God. I was in prayers when I finished reading the book. Then I heard audibly some important things about how my life, even in the past, would be turned into good. I turned around to see who was talking to me. I saw none. I asked a person in the next room whether he heard anything. That pers...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 20.5.25 The Beginning of My Hearing God Alex Oguh

Hearing God is so crucial to getting interpretation of your dreams that we need to say more about it here. 16.5.25 FIRST IMPRESSIONS, ALEX OGUH LIFE JOURNAL

3. NO LEARNING, TALENT, ABILITIES OR POSITION IN LIFE CAN MAKE A PERSON TO KNOW AND INTERPRET DREAMS  Daniel came into the world some 600 years later and testified to the same experience in God. He told Nebuchadnezzar exactly what Joseph had told Pharaoh. Hear him. Daniel 2:25-27 (KJV)  Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; Other words for astrology are fortune-telling, soothsaying, clairvoyance, forecasting, prophecy and prediction. Astrologers know about fortune-telling, soothsaying, forecasti...

TO MY CHILDREN AFTER ALOY'S DEATH

To all my biological children,  THE DANGER OF BEING NEITHER HOT NOR COLD I feel bad because of the bad things happening to us in the family. I wish I can stand in the gap (Ezek 22, especially verse 30) and block it all without disturbing you. I can’t. I need your input.  Sometimes, the un-compromising righteous can only save himself where sins and disobedience are rampant. Ezek 14:12-20 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: 13 "Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. 14 Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord God.  15 "If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they empty it, and make it so desolate that no man may pass through because of the beasts, 16 even though these three men were in it, as I live,...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 15.5.25 LIFE JOURNAL by Alex Oguh

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 15.5.25 LIFE JOURNAL by Alex Oguh  1. DREAM INTERPRETATION BELONG TO GOD Genesis 40:8 (KJV) And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you. This is the first major verse on dream interpretation I want us to consider. Everything about dream interpretation is based on what God does or says. We will say more when we start talking about dream interpretation itself, but ponder on this a little. 2. NOT EVEN JOSEPH COULD INTERPRET DREAMS  This is shocking. It looks like a contradiction of the Bible narratives. Joseph knew the meaning of the dreams he had around the age of seventeen. The brothers knew the meaning of those dreams and it was why they so hated him and sold him into slavery. Their father knew the meaning of the dreams. The last dream about the sun and the moon bowing to him meant that his lifting up would be so big that his fathe...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - ALEX OGUH LIFE JOURNAL

13.5.25 FIRST IMPRESSIONS 2 - by Alex Oguh  Dreams have helped me greatly in this last few years that I began to give it attention. I wanted to write about dreams and I remember that I saw recently how a Christian group deleted a post I made about a dream I had and it's interpretation. It made no sense to them. So writing about dreams may not benefit many Christians unless the Lord first help me teach on HEARING GOD. Why? Everything about dream interpretation in the Bible is hinged on hearing God. See more on the matter tomorrow. ...TO BE CONTINUED

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - a life journal by Alex Oguh from 9th May 2025

FIRST IMPRESSIONS by Alex Oguh This came to me suddenly as I was leading Friday evening prayer in our Church yesterday. I was explaining divine or destiny helper as directed by my Church leader, Rev.Dr Philips Alhassan. So I delved into the help I need most from God - the ordered step. It was what brought Saul, son of Kish, before Samuel to be anointed to become king of Israel. I talked of the divine orchestration of donkeys to appear missing, the strange way Saul searched for lost donkeys. Can domesticated donkeys go that far from a home they are used to?  When Saul came to his senses and wanted to turn back, God used the slave with him to suggest seeing Samuel. Suddenly I saw as strange that a slave, likely a foreigner, knew more than the son of a wealthy man in Israel.  Another objection that would have stopped Saul from entering his divine location was money. No money on his for offering to the prophet. Again it was the slave who had money. I don't know whether you see tha...
