Prov. 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. NKJV
        Prov 13:12
Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around. (THE MESSAGE)

A desire accomplished is sweet to the soul.( Prov 13:19). The Church age should be age of joy.  The Lord said that they should tell John THE bAPTIST:
Jesus answered, Go back and tell John what you are hearing and seeing: the blind can see, the lame can walk, those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead are brought back to life, and the Good News is preached to the poor. How happy are those who have no doubts about me!”
Matthew 11:4‭-‬6 GNT

When Philip entered Samaria, there was joy in the land (Acts 8). We do not have that level of joy in the Church now. We heard of such times of refreshing in the days of past revivals. We read about such in every revival. May we see such days.

Anointing should make us glad. When the anointed is not using the anointing wisely, people around suffer. A prophet (Elisha) who was being mocked by children used his connection to call a bear to come and eat 42 children (). Only God knows how many mothers, grand-mothers and neighbours cried that day. Only God knows what the mariners on the ship Jonah entered lost because the prophet with them was somebody God was unhappy with.

There are so many Christians in our land and there is so much sorrow everywhere. People are aching and are in tears one way or the other. Such things make them hate us. It was why the King of Israel wanted to cut off the head of Elisha. The prophet was wise and so he prophesied that food be cheap at the gate of Samaria the following day. Why did he not speak up before?

We need to be sources of blessing to the people around us. That is why He instructed those He sent to first declare His peace to every house they enter. Let us use our divine connection to help the people of the land. Hope differed is annoying. Zecharias was a man of God. He married Elizabeth and it was discovered that they did not get the fruit of the womb. They were both righteous and so they started praying earnestly from their youth. They prayed and prayed. Nothing happened till they became old and lost hope. In fact, the people had already started to call her barren. Then this angel came and announced that they would now get pregnant and have a son. Zecharias got angry and doubted the good news and spoke rashly. May we not do that. The angel too was not happy, so he spoke and said that the man would be dumb till the word is fulfilled. What caused that? It was that their hope was delayed.

We are witnessing how our young people are resorting to the use of charms in the face of current Herdsmen attacks. Why do they do that? It is because their expectations about the power of God did not come to pass. Many of these young men will end up in Hell. Their blood can fall on the Church leaders in this generation. Why? We know what to do. Outpourings of Gods Spirit in revivals would solve the problem.

This is how I know. This same angel came to Sister Mary six months later and Mary explained why she could not believe what the angel said would happen. She was a virgin and virgins do not conceive. The answer the angel gave was that the Spirit of God would overshadow her. This is the answer to how impossible situations can be turned around.

The Spirit overshadowed the earth at the beginning and see what happened when God spoke. The spirit was present in the days of Jesus and so He could heal all kinds of sicknesses.  We, the church leaders, know what to do. We know that we need revival. It is wickedness not to turn our attention to secure revival. How do we do it?

The answer is very simple. Who is the Church leader who does not know that it is in unity that God has commanded His blessings?
  Ps 133
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing
Life forevermore. NKJV

We are wicked unless we pursue unity. No revival has ever come through vessels that are divisive. A denomination may secure a revival, but if they wall it off to be within their denomination, the revival will frizzle away. God is for all. God has one Church on earth. Do not try to make it two or more. It will never happen.

2. A house divided against itself cannot stand (Mk 3:25). We all know this. Why are we so divided? It is the will of man that causing it. Somebody may say that we are not divided. We are! This is how we know. A kingdom has one king and the kings decree is obeyed by all. Imagine that God had asked you to take your last Sunday offerings and give it to another church denomination somewhere. How many churches would agree? That is how you know that we do not have one King. Let us work together to make is Jesus King. I have been a Christian for almost twenty-nine years and I have not yet seen any other way to come together outside discipleship.

Let us all embrace discipleship. That would lead to revival. Hopes are n ot differed in revivals. What do you think about this? Write us your comments through
