YOUR HEART, THE BEST STORE FOR HIM

YOUR HEART, THE BEST STORE FOR HIM
Prov. 3:1 Good friend, don't forget all I've taught you;
take to heart my commands.(MSG)
Prov. 3:1 My child, don't forget what I teach you. Always remember what I tell you to do
Prov. 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments KJV
Years ago, I was in a meeting in Lagos where Prof. Zach Formum was speaking. It was on a 3rd day of the month and I was following my custom of reading through the book of Proverbs each month. Early that morning, I began to read Prov.3 and I was stopped in my spirit and my thoughts went to the way I store the word of God coming to me.
I was convicted that I was keeping the word of God that come my way in my notebooks, on cassettes, on CD or DVD.
I don't know your experience, but I knew in my heart that day how the devil had been dealing with me. My notes would get lost. My CDs crack. I discovered that the best place to keep the word of God is where God wants us to keep it - in our hearts.
Loss of memory won't affect it. Moths, ants and rats won't eat them. Water won't affect them and even fire does not reach it without us running with what we carry in our hearts.
Begin to really grow by digesting the word of God entering your life. Give time to meditations. Escape the trap in Ps 1:1-3
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Thank you for choosing wisdom.
