27.5.23@2am TO AMOMA

Good morning, my dear children. The last two weeks or three gave me cause to value each of you better.

After Enyo travelled to Abuja, I was left alone with Mummy. It has been like it was in our beginning. Our beginning? We had househelps. Just the two of us in the last two or three weeks with no child to send.

* I had to start doing domestic chores. How won't I? She was left alone to do all the chores. I would sweep and mop while she cooks or I wash plates for her.
*A few times, guess who went to buy water from Abel House? I had to. Mrs Abel would not take money from me. The last one, she called a boy from her house to help me carry the water to our house. We later resorted to sending Rashida, the girl with Carpenter.

Thank God for the rains. We have some water from the big tanks for our basic needs these last few days.

Why? Is Isaac not at home? He has been spending more time at his workplace. The fault was ours sometimes. He normally comes many afternoons. We ought to have left money down for him to use to fetch water. Many times,.we forgot. That has been our undoing.

All things work for good for those who love God Rom 8:28). Missing you has made me to obey Jesus more in this matter of household chores. How powerful is early childhood training.
 *Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.*

I was not trained to cook or sweep  from my youth with my parents. Our kingdom training is different and opposite that.

A husband is one with his wife just like our body parts are one. How can one hand refuse to help the other? None need to even ask the other before help is offered. Not even a leg with a place to scratch needs to beg a hand to help scratch it. Do they beg each other?

But here was I, just a part of the body, being reluctant to help my wife.

Children, forgive me. My life, in this regard was not a good example for you to follow. A good husband is one with his wife - one in everything. One is a male me and the other is a female me.

I'll follow Jesus better from now on for you to see. There is only one way to judge anybody and anything. It's by comparing him/he/ it with Jesus' life.

Is becoming like Jesus (Rm 8:29) a bad thing? It actually pays to be like Him. I'll tell you the benefits as I write more to you.
