H. '... and set aside the full ones.’ 2 Ky 4:4. 

The Church is dividing and subdividing into myriads of deniminations. We, the Church leaders, ought to know that there is something wrong with us or with our methods.

By their fruits we shall know them.  Science has survived because they don't leave anything to chance. For every cause, there is effect. Nothing happens for nothing.

The matter of setting aside full vessels must be understood. Most of the Church members seemed set aside too early. They are neither full nor empty.

Those we set aside from further filling are in our offices, on our roads as Policemen and women. Those we set aside are championing exam malpractices in schools at all levels. Some we thought have become Christians are robbings people they should fill with Christ on highways and byways. We are not doing well.

Let's call them back to class. That means calling them to concentrated Discipleship. Like the the chief butler (Gen. 41:9), I remember my sins. I left Foursquare as a Pastor in Felele, Lokoja in 2003. Years later the Lord began to urge me to look for the members and work on them.

I didn't do that. I was just hoping to jam them and coopt them back to Discipleship under me. I repent. I will look for them. If any of them, see this post, let them reconnect back to me. I need to be sure that you are sellable in the market 

Another evil in the Church is overfeeding. We have kept some in the pew too long. The result has been that some condenm our preachings and other services to God. Release such to go and fill others.

The miracle that kept you preaching without exhausting your output will start in them. The same God that enabled you to keep pouring out endlessly will work with them 

Is there anyone reading this who shouldn't be in the pew? Please come out from among them. Let me end by telling you one of my many stories. 

I came into Foursquare Gospel Church in the centre of Lokoja in 1996. I had left Idah on July 1 1995. I had gone to Abuja for a time, looking for what to eat, drink and wear. I thank God that I caught nothing. So when there seem to be something to catch in Lokoja, I came back from Abuja.

I was new in this branch and they didn't know me much. Many didn't know that I had been a Pastor of the Church at Okpachala, Idah.

One Sunday, during the Sunday School Class, it was this brother teaching us. The brother has been greatly helped by God now. He had since gone further in schooling and polished his spoken English.

Then in 1996, he had problem expressing himself in English. As he stood there struggling with the language in which to express the truths in the study, the Holy Ghost asked me?

"Why would you sit here doing nothing while this boy is struggling to do what you can do better for God?"

I had no answer to that question. I reported myself to the Pastor then, Pastor Alex Apeh, and he made me a Sunday School teacher from that day.

Let me ask you the question I had received. Why are you sitting there when you can do better for God what that servant of God is struggling to do? Why do you judge and condenm him instead of offering helping hands? What are you waiting? Angelic visit? What are you waiting for? A trumpet from Heaven? Tell what you are waiting for while your Father's work is falling apart?
