1 Thessalonians 1:5 (KJV)  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

This journal is expected to have new writeup each day. Sorry that other things keep making us to skip once in a while. Please pray for me to meet the divine expectations.

I wish to work according to His will because I don't want Him to regard me again as wicked. The Lord has quoted His word to me before because of my failure ro keep every captive or assignment put in my hands. When He quoted Prov. 28:1 for me then, I was surprised. Yes, the wicked flee when no one pursues him, but I thought that applied to the unconverted sinner. Now I know better. Missing the mark is sinning. The difference is that I am not a sinner by nature. I don't feel comfortable missing the mark.

With that background, let's look at what it could mean for the word to come to God's people in the Holy Ghost. Most of us desire to preach in power. We forget that power alone can be very deceptive. 

The Lord warned about this when He said that He can permit a false prophet to test His people. A prophet can arise, prophesy and it will come to pass. He can do signs and wonders, but if he suggests that the people should follow another God, that is a false prophet (Dt 13:1-3).

Such a prophet should be put to death (v.5). May we fully understand this part of the Bible. Once we understand it, we would know that some on the altar of God right now should be known as false prophets. Money must never replace the Lord. Anointing oil must not creep back as idol. I was born a pagan. I know what wearing armlets mean. Some now carry bottles of anointing oil around as we used to carry charm. Some use handkerchief instead of charms used by pagans. What of chaplets? What do you think they are?

Power is not enough. Bar-Jesus (Acts 13:6) was powerful. Power is not enough. Some men of God have political power. Power is not enough. Some men of God just have money power. Power is not enough. Some so-called men of God have juju or magical power. Power is not enough. It's possible to have power of oratory.

What then are the signs that Holy Ghost is involved in a ministry? Here are the signs:
1. Holiness will be evident. That the man of God is raping somebody once in a while? Forget it. Holy Ghost is not there. Certainly unholy spirit is there in that work.
2. Liberty. Anywhere the spirit is there is liberty (2 Cor. 3:17). Are they insisting that everybody must fast? Is fasting and praying mandatory each minth?  That is not God. A sign that God is around is freedom to follow or not to follow. Jesus would only call, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself... (Mt 16:24; Mk 8:34; Lk 9:2314:25-33). It's 'If', not 'When'.
3. Easily intreated. If it is God, no matter is too big to be settled. It won't be what happened to Moses. He came down from the Mount with the two tablets of the Law. He saw that the people were worshipping an idol. He got angry. He didn't even consider using the first commandments against what was going on.

He threw the stones down. I don't know whether they broke then. And if he had stopped there, it might be possible to manage to read what God wrote. He didn't stop there. Maybe at this time, there were people begging Moses, "It is enough! It is enough!!"

Nothing could stop Moses now. The Bibles says that Moses' anger waxed hot. This has always been a sign of sin. It gets out of control. This does not happen where the Spirit is. Moses took the trouble to grind the stone God has handled. Why? He wanted them to drink the stone in water? Why? It must be shown that Moses was angry.

We now have rioty Churches and denominations. There are quarrels everywhere. See how James put it in 
James 3:14, 16-17 (KJV)  But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Is your Church not on talking terms with another Church? Flee from both Churches. No preaching there is in the Holy Ghost. Is your Pastor bitter about the other man of God? Forget him, he is doing the enemy's work.

Is your pastor or Rev. Father preaching in the Holy Ghost? If not, you have an assignment. Become that man's pastor. Begin to be praying for him or her. Let your light help him to begin to see. To save yourself, look for another man you can follow. You should not follow a man who is not far ahead of you 

It was a law. They are commanded not to follow such leaders (Josh. 3:3-5).
