There is a young boy who started putting his finger in his mouth from birth. The parents kept saying, "Remove your hand, remove your hand." 

Up till today, the boy still puts his finger in his mouth. Only God knows how many times, people have corrected that boy. And only He knows how many times He corrects.us before we start life of obedience.


I used to write the dealings of the lord in my notebooks. And when a message hits me, I used to buy the cassette or the CD or DVD. This was the way of storing the word of God that came to me till I had another encounter with the Lord when I went to listen to Prof. zach Formum when he came to Lagos some years before he died.ß

It was while I was in that meeting that I was reading Prov. 3 when the Lord confronted with verse 1 of it. 

Prov  3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart

The Lord must have spoken to me because it flashed through my heart that "You store my word in notes and in CD or DVDs, not.in your heart. 

After that I try to keep His words to.me.in my heart. What.
 a porous heart I carry. I keep.forgeting His dealings. Whenever I came across.what I wrote down from.Him, I wondered whether I was the one the Lord spoke this or that to. 

Then phones, tablets.and.laptops became more available to me. I still write down God's dealings but I try to keep.them more in my heart. The more I try to keep His word in my heart, the more I see how poor my heart and memory is.

The electronic methods of storing God's words to me is doing more to expose the trouble God takes.to.teach me. Each time I search for what I thought God told me.once, that is when I discover that He had said that same thing many, many time to me in different.occassions and in different.ways.

I fear the repercussions. Thereis a warning and why we should fear in 
Proverbs 29:1 (KJV)  He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Pray for me that the Lord bears more with me. This that I've observed about myself is enough to tell me.that there is need for.much.teaching to the people of God. If the electronic.methods are failing me,.what.of those who are illiterates in the body of Christ? There must be another way God has to help.them.


There were times.I became worried that some people close to me are not reading the Bible enough. I seem to think that every christian ought to go through the entire bible regularly. This is simply not possinle for some. Such things used to worry me till the Lord asked me to be the  living Bible for them. 

He said, "They don't need to read through the entire bible like you do. Be the bible for them "

So I began to see that the pouring is not in words only.  I had already found 

1 Thessalonians 1:5 (KJV)  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

What Do We Pour?
1. Words.  Jesus did a lot of talking. He spoke from Mt. 5 to the.end of Mt. 7. There are 65 books in the Bible. They have 1,189 chapters, 31,103 verses and 807,361 words in King James Version

There is a lot of words. Then some of our people add Apocrypha Books (books not accepted as sacred writings). The ones the Elders then accepted was a volume already. That has increased words the people of God have to deal with.

Paul said that their preaching was not in words only. We will look at the other ways people get revelation of God as a man of God presents the truths of the Gospel. That will be from tomorrow.

What is preaching in words only?
What of preaching
# in power, and 
# in the Holy Ghost, and
# in much assurance; 
# as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake?
