2 Kings 4:4 (KJV)  And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

There is wisdom in making disciples. It's lack of understanding that is making every pastor aim too high. Imagine doubling yourself each year and teaching each person you have affected to double himself and teach those affected by him to keep on the practice.

I have been in the Lord for the past 30 years. If a mature Christian (30 years ago) had followed the Lord instead of following those not following Him, he would have done more. Let's take the minimum - that he affects one person per year and teach those made to make copies of themselves each year

Of course, there would be wastages. There would be people like Judas on the way, making the number to reduce by 1 over 12. That is from 5,368,870,912 to 4,921,465,083. There would be people like Demas who abandoned discipleship. There will be foolish people who take nothing serious. There will be some that die soon after knowing the Lord. We can imagine all kinds of reasons why this ideal will not work.

We can even imagine the worst situation. Let us expect only 10% of this figure to be attainable by each mature believer in 30 years. That is 5,368,870,912 reduced to 536,887,091. If Nigeria has 200,000,000 persons, it will take less than 30 years for one person to make the people all to follow Jesus. No wonder the devil hates anything discipleship. Nobody likes any weapon that can leas to his defeat.

I have shown you what could happen if all of us that are mature go this way of.making men. I want to bless you and leave you to consider which side to be - God's or Satan's.
