2Ki 4:3 KJV Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.

This is our final post on this month's post on our sub-topic: BORROW NOT A FEW : EXPECT GREAT THINGS FROM GOD.

It's important that vessels that God will use in revival be empty. Full vessels are never used. This is so important and I'm worried that our Christian ministers and leaders are not working in this wisdom from above.

There are warnings about this everywhere in scripture. No matter the taste of your food, a man who has already eaten and is full is not attracted to it. To the person with hungry stomach, even bitter food is sweet (Prov. 27:7).

It's a great blessing to know your need for God. It's the first of the be-attitudes in Mt. 5. The second, the third the fourth are like the first be-attitude.
Matthew 5:4-6 (KJV)  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

You knowing your need for God will make you mourn (cry, weep, neglect your appearance, refuse to eat). Poverty of the spirit can make you humble and easily entreated. That poverty is like hunger and thirst for right things.

King David was like that. His need for God was overwhelming. He talked of thirst for God in the wilderness. Wao! Why not thirst for water first? He spoke extensively of his need to be in the House of God, even if it's a demotion? What of his exalted office?

The priest that came and looked at the wounded man didn't see the need to ask himself, 'What would Jesus do in a case like this?' The levite was a man of God, a representative of Heaven, but he didn't desire to do God's will in the situation.

The Samaritan was not dressed like a Pastor. He was not as obviously connected to God as the other two, but in the spirit world, he was a man after God's heart.

We will be talking of the need for empty vessels all through April 2022, by the grace of God. Help us pray that we don't miss what the Spirit is going to be saying to His Churches through this Journal in April 2022.

I must apologize if what I write is somtimes offensive to any of you. I wish I can edit what comes through, but I can't because I agreed with the Lord sometime ago to act like the lion (Prov. 30:30) - to turn at nothing from what I know to be God's will.

If I begin to shift ground, it will be impossible for me to talk about empty vessels in this April. I don't think that I'm totally evacuated of self-life yet, but I do like Paul in Phil. 3:13-.21.

1. NO GOING BACK FROM DOING WHAT I KNOW TO BE RIGHT.
Philippians 3:13 Brothers and sisters, I can't consider myself a winner yet. This is what I do: I don't look back, I lengthen my stride, and
2. I TRY TO KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO DO.
Philippians 3:14 I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.
3. I WANT BE MATURE.
Philippians 3:15 Whoever has a mature faith should think this way. And if you think differently, God will show you how to think.
4. I STICK TO WHAT I ALREADY KNOW TO BE  TRUE
Philippianser, we should be guided by what we have learned so far.
5. I CALL ON YOU AND ALL OTHERS TO IMITATE ME.
Philippians 3:17 Brothers and sisters, imitate me, and pay attention to those who live by the example we have given you.
6. KNOWING THAT OVER 90% OF CHRISTIANS ARE FULL OF SELF LIFE Philippians 3:18 I have often told you, and now tell you with tears in my eyes, that many live as the enemies of the cross of Christ.
7. HEADING FOR ETERNAL DESTRUCTION.
Philippians 3:19 In the end they will be destroyed. Their own emotions are their god, and they take pride in the shameful things they do. Their minds are set on worldly things.
8. I VALUE MY CITOZENSHIP OF HEAVEN.
Philippians 3:20 We, however, are citizens of heaven. We look forward to the Lord Jesus Christ coming from heaven as our Savior.
9. I DOCUS ON JESUS TO HELP TO COME TO HE.
Philippians 3:21 Through his power to bring everything under his authority, he will change our humble bodies and make them like his glorified body.

Mau God give you understanding.
