2Ki 4:3 KJV Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
Luke 11:17 (KJV) But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
Ecclesiastes AMP 10:1 cause the ointment of the perfumer to putrefy [and] send forth a vile odor; so does a little folly [in him who is valued for wisdom] outweigh wisdom and honor.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness dignifies a nation,
but sin disgraces a people.
The widow was to borrow vessels from her neighbours and she was.to borrow very many vessels. May God help her to be the only woman with her children borrowing vessels. Imagine that they were living in a village of 50 families. Suppossing that each family has five vessels.(persons). Imagine too that some of these vessels are not empty. Some families have some in cults. A few families have drunkards as fathers or grown up children. Imagine that some.of the villagers worship Allah. So instead of 250 (50x5) vessels, only 200 are really empty and are Available for borrowing. If the Gospel of Christ enters that village to begin borrowing empty vessels and if the empty vessels are handed over to them, they may have a Church congregation of 200 persons, but if another woman was in the village borrowing empty vessels, the number the first woman may get would be less than 200.
That is only a part of the.problem. The owners of the empty vessels may ask what the vessels are needed for. If the first.woman answered and.said,.I want to fill them with Christ, the villagers may express surprise. They know of another woman who had borrowed vessels for storing Christ too and poured something dirty into them. They became worse than they were before. They may further ask, where is the oil you want to pour into them? In modern understanding, she would say that the oil (Christ) is in a little book called the Bible.
You know what may happen? The villagers may have remembered how another woman borrowed many of their children and poured rubbish into them from the same book. They would be right if they refuse to give out their family members as empty vessels. They will be right.
Let's not imagine more because what can happen can be terrible. There can be 10 widows (Church denominations) shouting up and down a single village and trying to corner empty vessels. The villagers would wonder. How many widows are in debt? How many widows is God helping at the same time? If the women are wives of the same man, why don't they work together in gathering empty vessels, in washing and in filling them with oil?
That is the problem. The bride of the Lord is one, not two. Deceptions are going on in the Church. This ought not to be.
IMPLICATIONS BASED ON:
1. The Church will not stand this way of being divided (Luke 11:17)
2. The Church as the wisdom of God is sending out bad odour to the people of this world (Eccl 10:1).
3. Since we are deceptive, disgrace has come over the Church. Sin is a reproach to all the people (Prov.
14:34).
Deniminationalism is evil. It doesn't help God or His people. It doesn't help borrowing of vessels. It make the widows (Churches) quarrel. Fake oil are used by some. Some borrowed vessels are not well washed. A mistake by one careless widow is taken by the world as our character. Denominations are enemies of God's work on earth. Fear the spirit behind it. That Spirit talks and gives fake visions to zealous Christians to start yet another division in the House of God. How can God be author of confusion?
Does God get modernized? Ask David who used man's invention (a chariot) to carry the Ark in 1 Chron. 13. The early Church didn't have denomination. The Church, like a river (Ps 46:4), should flow into a village, into a town or into a nation as one body of Christ (1 Cor. 12).
Paul didn't separate from the Church he met in Ephesus in Acts 19. Please let one Church exist per city, per region, etc and let the elders per city be one group, not two.
Titus 1:5 (KJV) For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
Is the oil going to be sellable? Let it pour from one Cruise.
