The Beginning of My Hearing God Alex Oguh I was saved at an accident scene on December 30th 1991. The first Christian book I read after my conversion was written by a Pastor who was disciplined by his Church because the Senior Pastor told a lie about him. The man suffered rejection for a time. Everyone looked at him as a sinner, when in reality, he did not sin. It was jealousy at work. After a time, the rejected pastor was restored and he was posted out to a new station. God helped him in the new place and led him to a higher dimension of ministry. The author kept quoting Rom 8:28 I saw that all things work together for good to them who love God. I was in prayers when I finished reading the book. Then I heard audibly some important things about how my life, even in the past, would be turned into good. It is like they started a School, a University or something. We were learning from people. Somebody said that he learnt from Bro. Gbile and he learnt from books. Others learnt from other men and women of God.  One of such teachers would come and teach. I didn't have much knowledge, but I was also referring to others and getting something to (teach). It was as if this practice (of getting what to preach) was happening in other States. As the School was on, it was as if it became something later and those who started it became leaders and top government people. PRAYERS: Lord Jesus, I don't know the meaning. I've just been told (21.8.23@ about 4:28am) again by the Lord that despite what is going on in Politics, He will give us a Governor that will be good to the people in Kogi State. He has seen our afflictions and He has decided to help us.

THE CHURCH MUST NOT BE WICKED Prov 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. NKJV It takes God to show you yourself. It has always been so. Nobody told Adam and Eve to run when God came after their fall. Jonah was adamant till he was about to die. Deep down in the Sea, he begged God for mercy. Isaiah had gone along well with his bad mouth till he met the Lord in chapter 6. I had my own experience. I have had the stony heart even after my conversion. I would eagerly start something with the Lord and stop later, especially when I begin another new thing for the Lord. When the Lord confronted me and told me that I had the stony type of soil, I was surprised. It shocked me later when He took the matter higher and called me a wicked man because, like the wicked, I flee when no one is pursuing me (Prov 28:1).
